Meet the Doctors
Dr. Gary White
Always wanting to become an artist, Dr. Gary White studied graphic design in college, until one visit to a dental office changed his life. During that visit, he noticed the artistry of dentistry that he had never considered before. He realized with dentistry he could enhance the lives of others, and still fulfills his need to express his artistic side. So, he started flossing, and in 2006 he fulfilled his dream by graduating from Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry.
Since graduation, Dr. White has taken extensive continuing education in many advanced aspects of dentistry. He has become proficient and enjoys providing services such as braces, implants, and oral surgery. Even more than that, he enjoys the people he treats. Since everyone is different, it has been a pleasure for him to get to know his patients.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. White enjoys outdoor activities. Much of his summertime is spent backpacking and camping, and in the winter, he can often be found gliding down the mountains on his snowboard. When the weather doesn’t cooperate, he can usually be found in the gym.
Dr. Daniel Chung
Daniel Chung was born and raised in Southern California. Although he didn’t know it while living there, he was a Pacific Northwesterner at heart. After receiving a B.A. in English Literature, he decided to follow his father’s footsteps into dentistry. After graduating dental school, he worked for several years before moving to the greater Portland area in 2011.
Daniel appreciates that every patient who visits our office has a story that informs their relationship with dentistry. He feels his role is to provide sound diagnoses, then inform and educate patients of their options so they can make the decisions that are best for them. His greatest satisfaction comes from patients who have wonderful dental experiences.
When he’s not at the office, he can be found with his wife and sons. He enjoys reading each morning, amateur carpentry when weather and time permit, skiing Mt Hood, and being involved with his church.
